1. Go to Word Processor Integration to install the Zotero plug-in to Microsoft Word. 

2. Click on Installation, for Windows users, scroll down to  Download Word for Windows Installer (119KB, English only). 

3. An automatic installer can be downloaded. (The installer supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista and Word 2000 and up.)

4. Double click the Zotero-Word-Plugin-Installer-1.0b3.exe file to install the plug-in to your MS Word.

5. Open your Microsoft Word,

 In Word 2007, click on Add-Ins menu the Zotero toolbar appears as,

 In Word 2003, the Zotero toolbar appears,

6. If your Microsoft Word is in a language other than English, you need to install the Zotero plug-in manually.

7. For Mac OX S users, please follow a different link.

8. For those users with a visual basic runtime error message, and cite error 91 when cite using the plug-in, it might be caused by a Shaw cable issue. It may be fixed by trying:

• go into Internet Explorer
  
• go into Tools and then Internet Options
• Click the Connections tab then LAN Settings button
• disable Automatically detect settings
