Ruckus was brought to us by a college
student. (We live 20-25 minutes from NIU.) She had found the ferret wandering and had taken him home. She loved the way he played with her
cat, but she was worried about what might happen when she wasn`t home. We talked about cages, but Kathy had already made up her mind. She wanted Ruckus to
stay here with US. Ruckus was about three years old, back then. UPDATE: December 28, 2009 Ruckus is now about 8 years old, adrenal, and insulinomic. He is on meds for life, but doing well. Here he is, opening a Christmas gift from his Auntie Sharon. Ruckus, Christmas 2009 Special thanks go to Sharon Edwards for sponsoring Ruckus at Christmas 2009. The box of treats & toys was huge enough for all of the ferrets to share, and the check she enclosed was very generous. Thank you, Sharon. You made a lot of fuzzies very happy! XXX000 Love, Zoo UPDATE: November 13, 2010 We lost our sweet Ruckus this afternoon. He went peacefully, in the comfort of his own home. Ruckus has been with us longer than anyone else in the room. He was about 9 years old. Things will never be the same without him--but I am so glad he came into our lives. Goodnight, sweet Ruckus... |
