Summer!                                                           6-5-07

Well, with Summer break now upon me, I should have more time to... you know... do stuff.  I'm still working, so I'm still getting money, but I've also finally finished a couple very small pieces of writing.  Specifically, I've written the screen plays for a few episodes of a comedy short animation I call The Executive. (Remember those short stories?  I've got more, and they're bigger and better than ever before!)  So to commemorate my new project, I've opened a new Google Pages.  VIEW IT HERE!  The odds are that eventually, if I really see this project going somewhere, I'll get a real website for it.

But that won't be for a while.

Until then, I'm writing, getting new stuff made, and making progress in blender.

 Hello Again!                                                    5-25-07

Not too much to say, really.

So, I still have a job, which is a good thing because... well... now I have money.

But other updates.  Lots of new stories in my head, some getting on paper.  Though recently a long held interest of mine has been rekindled.  I've always loved 3D modeling and animation, but always felt it was out of my reach, but because of a handy little program called Blender I've started to make my own artwork and even some small animations.

The only problem is I still suck.

But that doesn't mean I'm not learning.  I've learned more in the past month playing with Blender than I had over two years.  So I decided to try to start making small simple things and working my way towards (*Gasp*) making my stories into short animations.

A long ways a way?  Oh yeah, check back on this idea next year, but if nothing else it gives an update on me.

PS

I love penguins, hence why I modeled one.  Is it complete?  No, but I'm still proud of it.  And thankfully, I don't have comments/critiques, so no one can tell me it sucks, because I already know that!

But anyways, here's what I like to call... The Fat One.

Bigger Update                                             3/23/06

Writing  Update

I've moved to my PC again, because of that, I've decided it's time to restart on that new piece of mine.  It wasn't that the writing was necessarily bad (Though it was starting to fall apart) it's that there wasn't enough clear direction to it.  The first thing I'm going to do is make an outline.

It really is turning out to be a better piece than I anticipated.   I've fleshed out the characters a bit more in my head and the story is a fun one, at least, in my opinion it is.

I'll keep trying to update here as I make progress.

Oh yes, a special thanks to my friends who have put up with me sending them bits of it to edit.  Though I'm sure they wouldn't want me to write their names here.

Other 'me' updates

Yep, so I got a job, I'm going to be working hard in it, because I need the job and the money that comes with it.  Because of that, I might(Probably) not update this as much.  Bear with me.

Writing Again                                               3/11/06

Now that the debate season has come to a close yet again, perhaps I can finally get to writing again.  I learned a lot over the course of the year, including how horrible my creative writing tends to be.  As such, while I will be trying to write some killer short stories/novellas/whatever, the odds are they won't be posted here.  But I will try (keyword try) to update this every so often.

Current Writing projects

At the moment, I'm tossing a new idea of mine around. I'll probably be trying a short story to begin with to test the water of the plot, see what people think, we'll see what comes later.

The basic idea uses instrumentality, quantum mechanics, and a hell of a lot of science fiction.  We'll see what happens.
