Sometimes I let my mind wonder.....but not to far away!

Moments that take your breat away.

Another great movie is the Hitch.  "Hitch: Life is not the amount of breaths you take, it's the moments that take your breath away."  How many times have you at your breath taken away?

My wife and I watched the Move Hope Floats today.  Sometimes your just have to enjoy the "middle."

Bernice Pruitt
: My dad says that childhood is the happiest time of my life. But, I think he's wrong. I think my mom's right. She says that...
[Bernice's voice fades as Birdee takes over]
Birdee Pruitt: [laughing] Childhood is what you spend the rest of your life trying to overcome. That's what momma always says. She says that beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most. Try to remember that when you find yourself at a new beginning. Just give hope a chance to float up. And it will, too...

Not Often Enough

When you have three children all past the age of 16, life gets moving.  5 cars.  Many friends.  Figuring out work schedules.  Everyone traveling. What's for breakfast?  What's for lunch?  Can you watch the dog?  In general  call it "CHAOS"  But I refer to it has "JOY".  I'm sure there will be time in the not so distant future that eveybody will be gone and all of the sudden, boardom will set in.  And for me and my children we prefer "CHAOS".

Dogs are Great!

Was brought up in a family that didn't like dogs.  As I headed to the gas station to fill up, Cooper's my son's Chocolate Lab jumped in and sat next to me.  To the gas station and back he just looked at things.  His eyes traveled from road, bird, biker, car, and other dogs.  He really seemed like he was enjoying the ride.  I gave him a big hug.  Maybe it's time for me to just look at life and enjoy every minute of it?
