1/1/09  Happy New Yeat at the VanDyke's House.  Played Scene it.  KIssed at midnight.  Went to Tomaro's house to check in on Sam and Liz.  Played Catch Phrase.
1/2/09  Ashley's car to garage to get fixed, converter went bad.  Watched Movie at home with wife, "My big fat greek wedding."  Great movie.
1/3/09  Out to Eat at Beltline Bar.  Went to hear Dick Lafever's Band Play at Sacred Heart Hall in Grand Rapids with Hetfelds and VanDyke's
1/4/09  Church at Mars Hill.  Kent and Ed Dobson spoke.  Worked out at the YMCA. 
1/5/09  Back to School.  Ski Club to Bittersweet.  Felling the thrill of speed under control is awesome.   Helped a young girl find her bag, somebody had taken hers.
1/6/09  Another great day at school. Tired with lots of things to do.  Went to Paiges Dance team performance at the Jenison boys basketball game.  The did awesome.  Looked good in the camo.
1/7/09  School.  Finally a night to watch TV and relax.
1/8/09  School. Beginner HEAT practice. National Championship game.  Go Gators.
1/9/09  Long night finished meet entries.  Paige at the Hudsonville vs. Jenison basketball game, Hudsonville won in over time.
1/10/09 Early morning with swim meet at West Ottawa, Go HEAT!.  Swim lessons in the afternoon.  Watched Paige at the Dance compitiion.  Went to eat with the Van Dyke and Hetfields and Joey V's.
1/11/09 Went to Church at Mars Hills, on to Costco, then back home.  Shoveled the driveway 4-6 inches, watched the Golden Globe Awards. Along with the some of the football playoff games.
1/12/09 School.  Paiges exams. Nice meal at home with Tamara and Paige.  Ashley meet with the school for skin care.  One of the students at school, Dad was killed in car accident.  Life is fragile.  Watched the bachelor on TV.  Tamara started reading a book.  Busy day at school, getting caught up on all the little things.

1/29/09 Thursday, Practice after school, pictures with ties on.  Went to watch Paige Dance at the boys basketball game.  Great senior dance.
1/30/09 Friday, Out to heat with the Hetfields.  We went to Papenno's  in  Allendale, great pizza
1/31/09 Saturday, Beginner HEAT meet @ Hudsonville.  Swim lessons with the babies, pool was a little warmer.  Shoveled snow away from end of driveway.  I hate snowplows!  Costco for groceries.  Out to eat with the Boonsta's.  Watched "PS I love you"  starring Hillary Zwank and "No Reservation starring Catherine Zeta-Jones.

February
2/01/09 Sunday, Superbowl Sunday.  Started with * Mars Hill  church.  To Meijers for groceries.  Watched superbowl, go Cardinals.
2/02/09 Monday, School,  Parent teacher conferences.
2/03/09 Tuesday,  School, Parent teacher conferences.
2/04/09 Wednesday, Found out that the pool pump went bad.  Canceled all swim activities. Parent teacher conferences after school. MSU beat  Minnesota in basketball.
2/05/09 Thursday,  School, Dryland swimming practice.  Rascal Flatts Concert w. Katie and Scott.  Katie won free tickets for Paige and Alyssa.  Awesome show.
2/06/09 Friday, Just stayed home and enjoy the evening page went to the Jenison Hockey game.
2/07/09 Saturday, Novice Meet at Hamilton.  Weather final broke to above freezing. Tamara went for a facial.  I went tanning.  Set Scott up with a gmail account.  Hopefully it will help him with hit writing.  Great to see the sun.
2/08/09 Sunday,  Missed Church today.  Tamara's lip wasn't doing very well.  Went for a bike ride.  Watched the Grammy Awards. Set Facebook up for Scott.
2/09/09 Monday,  Ski Club date, practice at Grandville due to pool out.
2/10/09 Tuesday,  MS swim meet at E. Kentwood.  We won.
2/11/09 Wednesday, School Late start. Late night MS practice at Grandville.
2/12/09 Thursday, MS swim meet at Hamilton. We wom.
2/13/09 Friday, Teachers in service day. Worked on Blender. HEAT swim meet at Rockford HS.  Paige dance at girls Basketball game.
2/14/09 Saturday.  Happy Valentines day! Gone to Davenport, Iowa to visit Lance and Palmer Chiropractic.  Great time at "The Village".  Great dinner at Mexican restaurant near Mall.
2/15/09 Sunday,  Traveled home with Cooper Lance's Dog.  He will be staying a couple of weeks.
2/16/09 Monday, Back at school.  Twitter has made coming to school more interesting, many new ideas to try.  Thanks Twitter Nation!

2/26/09 Thursday, HEAT end of year party. Swim meet vs. Rockford. Lance comes home from Palmer.
2/27/09 Friday, Swim practice and out to eat  with Tamara, Lance, Adam and Kyle at South of the Boarder.  Pat come over later, boys headed downtown.
2/28/09 Saturday, Swim Lessson, Dance competition at West Ottawa.  Swim Lessons. Out to Main Street pub with the Hetfields.  Lance went fishing at Dave Millers with EJ from State.

3/19/09 Thursday, MACUL Conference.  Presented at MACUL conference. Visited the Discovery Education Network get together. Went to Greek Town with the Hudsonville group.
3/20/09 Friday, MACUL Conference, Detroit Michigan. Out to Hetfields.
3/21/09 Saturday, MS Conference swim meet at West Ottawa. Took 3 first place awards. Swim lessons, out to each with Tamara and Paige and Main Street Pub. Watched Michigan loose.
3/22/09 Sunday,  Michigan State won 2nd game in Tournament.
3/23/09 Monday, MS water polo starts.

Las Vegas Spring Break

4/1/09 Wednesday,Tamara Left to Vegas with Paige.
4/2/09 Thursday, Leave to Vegas at 7:30PM at night. Arrived in Vegas at 11:20PM.  Wow, the lights are fantastic. 
4/3/09 Friday:  *, Went for a ride around the Red Rock area.  Another wow!  moment.  In and out burger, the double-double gets me every time.  Great pizza by Tony. (Reminder to me, don't eat so much next time.) ACM New Artists’ Show on Fremont Street – Academy of Country Music presents the New Artists’ Show on Fremont Street! This free and open-to-the-public concert starts at 6:30pm and features performances by the newest and best artists in country(Julianna Hough, Jake Owen, & Jason Aldean.  We worked our way into the pit area and had fantastic views of the signers.

4/4/09 Saturday:  Watched to Spartans win at the Suncoast. Downtown on Fremont Street – Performances by , Gloriana, & Kellie Pickler.

4/5/09 Sunday,  To Church with Tony and Cheryl at the Crossing.  Went to MGM for the Orange Carpet. Back to Tony's house for great steak dinner. Anna arrived.
4/6/09 Monday, Hoover Dam visit, Drove up via the Lake Meade Drive.  Was in Arizona.  Watched the Spartans loose and the Suncoast.
4/7/09 Tuesday, Visited Los Angles, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood, Santa Monica Pier.  At supper at the end of the Pier at Mexican Restaurant. Traffic was incredible, hardly move.
4/8/09 Wednesday, Recovered from Los Angles.  Went to the fashion show mall and then to the Wynn and Vinician. 
4/9/09 Thursday,  To Paris and the Bilogio for lunch on the terrace.  Watched the fountains, fantastic.  Watched the Red Wings loose at the hotel. Watched "Slumdog Millionaire".
4/10/09 Friday, A day of shopping and fun, down to the outlet mall, bought some running shoes, and shorts.  Tony cooked ribs and Irene and Mike came over for dinner.  Went to the Stratosphere and road the "Big Shot" Wow what a ride. 1000 ft. up and more for the ride.  Down to Fremont Street, left Anna with the Tomaro's, on to the airport.  Back to West Michigan.
4/11/09 Saturday,  Great flight, need sleep.  Out with the VanDykes and Hetfields to Joey's V's.
4/12/09 Sunday, Happy Easter!  Went to Church.  Nanee and Papa came to dinner.  Washed cars.  Watched Marley and Me.

4/27/09 Monday, walked Cooper, School, went to to Jenison baseball game. Started new PE class today.  Good to be back in the gym.

6/27/09 Saturday,  Golfs and Stonegate as a part of Adam Bachelors party.  John Visser and I won the event.  Incredible.  Back to Jeff Spike's for supper and then on the bus to Downtown GR.  Fun night.
