Would you like to help sponsor a H.A.R.T Kitty? Canned Food and Litter ShortageDue to the pet food recall, HART' s source of canned cat food is experiencing a shortage. Our kitties rely on wet food to supplement their dry food diet as well as an aid in taking their medications. HART is gladly accepting donations of canned cat food such as 9-Lives, Friskies, Fancy Feast. And they also enjoy the Whiska's pouches. We are also in need of non-clumping clay litter.Donations may be left at the shelter door (see directions, below). The kitties and volunteers thank you!
YOUR SHAW'S REWARD CARD CAN HELP USPresent your Shaw's Rewards card when you shop at Shaw's (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, only) and they will donate a percentage of your total purchase to a non-profit organization(s) of your choice. HART wishes to place all cats with owners who will provide them with an indoor-only lifestyle.
Free BoardingFalmouth Happy Cats is a wonderful alternative to the traditional boarding of cats. They are pleased to offer new pet owners adopting from HART one night of free boarding at their facility. Falmouth Happy Cats will also donate the cost of one night’s boarding back to HART. Therefore, it is a win win situation! Please use the link below to find out more information about this exciting opportunity. Who We Are
H.A.R.T. is a state-licensed, all-volunteer shelter that provides refuge and medical attention to cats that have been surrendered, abandoned, injured or abused, and finds loving homes to adopt them.HART deals primarily with cats, both strays and owner surrendered, but does not limit their help to just this type of four-legged friend. HART is currently a temporary home for over 80 cats. Many other cats are knocking at the door to see if a home may become available to them. The cats are not caged while at HART, but live in rooms and are able to socialize with each other. HART provides both medical and specialized attention to all of its residents. They offer a hard-to-place cat with a safe haven until the perfect home becomes available. Feral cats, or otherwise unadoptable cats, always have a permanent home at HART
Thank you to Petfinder.com for helping us place so many cats since we've started showing them on this site! Some of our harder to place kitties have found wonderful homes because of Petfinder.com. |
