First six weeks - Skill review unit and Region Audition material preparation for Region Orchestra Auditions

Second six weeks -Performance Preperation/Performance and skill development. Dec. Concert.  Skill Development

Third six weeks - Performance Preparation/Performance.  Skill Development

Fourth six weeks - Solo and Ensemble unit   UIL solo and ensemble contest. Performance preparation.  Individualized instruction and skill development.

Fifth six weeks - Performance preparation/performance UIL Orchestra Concert/Sight-reading (or experimental group as is necessary according to current instrumentation and enrollment.

Sixth six weeks - Performance preparation/performance Spring concert.  State solos continued preeration, instruction, skill development.

MS Strings have a similar outline of learning and events.
