Cathy Thomason, Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.), is the founder and owner of the Great Way Wellness Center. Cathy is a graduate of the master’s degree program of the New England School of Acupuncture. She is certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (signified with Dipl.Ac. and Dipl.C.H.). Cathy has completed advanced herbal training with Dr. Tao Xie, and studied advanced needle technique with Dr. Cheng Xiao Ming. She became interested in studying acupuncture while living in South Korea, where acupuncture enjoys equal status with Western medicine.
Lisa Desrosiers is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts. She holds a Master of Acupuncture (M.Ac.) degree from
the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in
Seattle, WA. She holds a diploma in Acupuncture (Dipl. in Acupuncture)
from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental
Medicine (NCCAOM). She is also a graduate of the University of
Rochester with a B.A. in Psychology. Lisa's acupuncture mentors and teachers include Dr. Yiwen Su and Dr. Li Jin, Dr. Jianfeng Yang, Maureen McLaughlin L. Ac. and Angela Huges, L.Ac.
Erika Slocum (formerly Erika Atwood), Licensed Massage Therapist, is a graduate of the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA (now Cortiva Institute-Boston in Watertown, MA). She is licensed and Nationally Certified in the state of Massachusetts and has been practicing massage since 2005. Erika’s work focuses on creating balance and promoting healing for the body and mind.
