Welcome to my homepage! I was born in December of 1983 in Suzhou, one of the most historical and beautiful cities in China. I went to Chu Kochen Honors College of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, a wonderful place that I miss dearly. In 2005, I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Technology and a minor in Mathematics. At the age of 25, I got my Ph.D. in Economics from Virginia Tech. Thanks to my advisor, Dr. Robert P. Gilles. Microeconomic behavior and collective decision-making are my primary interests. My research fields include social learning, network dynamics, and computational economics. I incorporate both theory analysis and computer simulations (written in Python) in my work. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at NDSSL (Networks Dynamics and Simulation Science Laboratory) at Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at Virginia Tech. Thanks for visiting! Have a nice day. |
