Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey 94 Brett Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854-8058 Email: zhangfan(at)cac(dot)rutgers(dot)edu Bio & Education Now, I am pursuing a PhD degree of Computer Engineering at Rutgers University, under the guidance of Prof. Manish Parashar. During my master study (2007.9-2009.6) in School of Computer Science and Technology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), my advisor is Prof. Shengli Li. I used to be a research assistant of Peer-to-Peer computing group at SCTS&CGCL Lab, which is directed by Prof. Hai Jin. And our group leader is Prof. Xiaofei Liao and Prof. Wenbin Jiang. I received ME & BE degrees both in computer science and technology from HUST in June 2009,June 2007.

Research Interest: Distributed Computing Systems, Parallel Programming Models, Cloud Computing, HPC I/O, Peer-to-Peer Video Streaming Projects: COCOS: Coordinate Cores Space DIMES: Distributed Memory Space DADS: A Dynamic and Adaptive Data Space for Interacting Parallel Applications DataSpace: A data sharing framework that enables dynamic and asynchronous applications interactions in HPC clusters. * I implemented the IBM BlueGene/P version of DataSpace, and used the IBM Deep Computing Messaging Framework (DCMF) low-level communication library to enable one-sided memory-to-memory data transfer. The following are projects i worked on at HUST (2007 ~ 2009): MoSee: a prototype system which extends the AnySee P2P Live Streaming system to the wireless WLAN environment. Publications: F. Zhang, C.
