Welcome to my webpage. My name is Yuanyuan Zhang. I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of
Communication at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My advisor is Dr. Kristen Harrison. Before I came
to the Department of Communication, I received my M.A. in communication
from the University
of Connecticut. I
received my Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Sichuan University
in China.

Research InterestMy primary research
interest is in the social and psychological effects of mass media. Most of my
work focuses on the effects of mass media on young people’s sexual
