I grew up in Grant and graduated in 1992.  I attended Central Michigan University for my Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education.  Later, I attended Grand Valley State University for my Masters Degree in Middle Level Education.  I have been teaching at Grant Middle School for 13 years now and love it!  I am also currently the Grant Middle School Cross Country Coach, as well as the GMS Yearbook Advisor. 

 

My 4 wonderful kids keep me busy after coming home from my 150+ kids at school.  Trust me...there is never a dull moment!  My son Karlton is 9, my daughter Jada is 7, my daughter Nadia is 4, and my daughter Tyra is 1. 

 

I enjoy spending time with my family, running, playing tennis, playing volleyball, and a whole bunch of other activities!  I also love reading and scrapbooking....when I get some time.
