Nara & Hawaii

Japan and a Hawaiian difference

I live in Nara that is near to Osaka. Because Nara is a basin, it is hot and humid in the summer, and it is a very cold city in winter. However, snow is not piled up very much, and there is not a skiing area, too.

Speaking of the highlight of Nara, there are Todai-ji Temple and great statue of Buddha of Nara, Horyu-ji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Toshodai-ji Temple, Yakushi-ji Temple, Heijokyo trace, the god of the south gate, Takamatsu shrine old burial mound. It is Heijokyo trace that I in particular go well. I become the large grass to Heijokyo trace other than the god of the south gate. I like strolling in the sidewalk over there with Chocotan of a pet dog.

I have been to Hawaii three times. There is little moisture particularly in the summer always warmly unlike Japan, and it is an at all comfortable climate. Because it is surrounded in the sea in the same way as Japan, water is very delicious.

Many famous people visit you from Japan in the New Year. It may be said that it is the city that a Japanese loves most abroad. It is a dream that I spend the old age in Hawaii.
