Behavior Plan

Character Cards

Character Cards are used to recognize positive student behaviors.

Students will be responsible for demonstrating:
  • Talking on an appropriate level and at appropriate times (T)
  • Walking Appropriately in the hallway (W)
  • Following directions (D)
  • Treating others with respect (R)
  • Completes class/homework (C)
Students can receive the appropriate letters Above the Line or Below the Line every day.  They can receive more than one of each letter in any given day, depending on behavior demonstrated.
  • Above the line=appropriate behavior demonstrated
  • Below the line=warnings given and behavior is not corrected
*If students did not receive a Below the Line letter, those letters are automatically placed Above the Line. Therefore, every child will receive every letter on each day of the week.

At the end of  each week, the percentage will be calculated for above the line letters.
  • 80% Above the line=FUN FRIDAY (30 minutes)
  • Below 80%=Sit at back table and write a reflection or complete weekly work/homework that was incomplete
