I'm Flora Johnston, a writer and researcher interested in all things Scottish.
 I have a First Class Honours degree in Scottish History and over 15 years' experience of research and writing for publications, exhibitions and individuals. I studied in St Andrews and live in Edinburgh, and have a thorough knowledge of the places, people, sources and traditions which are woven through our country's past.
I can answer your questions on Scotland and Scottish history; I can help you to find your ancestors and to understand their world. I can explore the history of your home or community, and the people who lived there.
