The World Needs Your Passion

The most effective way of contributing to the world is to get in touch with your passion.

We hear a lot about climate change and the need to reduce our carbon footprints. I present the case for finding our Contribution Footprint ™ - our way of sharing our unique gifts with the world. Come and discover how to find and follow your passion and how to deal with obstacles along that path.

This motivational, provocative talk is based on my article of the same name, as published in Permaculture Magazine and which you can read here.

It was just what I needed to hear in order to shove me into changing my work circumstances to something better for me and for the world. Thanks so very much.

- Pat Herriott

I was at your talk last night. It was wonderful to find myself at such an event, you were so uplifting. Much of what you said touched on themes that are familiar to me, however, I have never ever come across such generosity, such natural warmth.  I felt that you were there for the greater good, that you had no personal agenda, that you were not out to get something or that you were doing something with the hope that a reward might happenchance appear as a result.  That I found truly inspiring. Thank you

It was a great talk, Corrina. Really confirmed my decision to quit work and find my passion and I felt you were talking just to me.

How To Start A Business By Accident

Following your passion might just make you an entrepreneur

Many of us associate business with detailed planning and plenty of forethought. However, sometimes when a venture emerges out of your passion, it can evolve as if it has a life of its own. YOU can be the source of next steps, rather than the goal 'over there', and thereby create a naturally authentic vehicle for sharing your gifts.

By the end of this talk, you'll have discovered:

  • how to access your innate entrepreneurial spirit

  • how simple the fundamentals of business really are

  • how your natural strengths offer new possibilities for how you develop your venture

  • how following your heart can bring clients, income and fulfilment

If you're starting up a business and are feeling daunted and planned-out, this will be the boost of inspiration you need.

This talk has been very popular with school career conventions e.g

Careers Convention, Newstead Wood School, Kent, 2008

Y9 Careers Conference, Bullers Wood School, Kent, 2007

Sixth Form Careers Forum, The Leys School, Cambridge, 2007

Interactive talk plus Q&A discussion, up to 1 hour

I also design tailor-made talks, e.g.

"Uniquely You: The Foundation of a Unique CV"

Y10, The Leys School, Cambridge - Apr 07

"Work/Life Balance: Looking at the Whole Picture"

Radio 209, Cambridge - May 07
