Psalm 45:15

The bride, a princess, waits within her chamber, dressed in a gown woven with gold.

In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king, accompanied by her bridesmaids.

What a joyful, enthusiastic procession as they enter the king's palace!

When God created the world, he put Adam in the Garden and gave him a woman to be with him.

God had a plan in mind when he created the woman.

To be loved by God and walk in close fellowship with Him.

To have a part in God’s Great Story.

He made her a beautiful expression of God, in His image.  He made her to worship God.  To be His own daughter.

He created you too. He wants you to mature from a daughter into the beautiful bride He has designed you to be.

But you have an enemy.  Just as Satan tried to stop Eve from fulfilling her destiny, Satan tries to stop you too.

Satan wants to destroy beauty.  He wants to destroy each woman's life and wound her so that she won't be able to fulfill her destiny.

Every woman was once a little girl.  Every little girl holds her dreams in her heart that God put there.  She longs for love and purpose in a beautiful story.   She longs for love. She wants to be precious to someone.  She wants to be noticed, desired, needed.

She loves to put on a show for her mom and dad.

To Dance, sing or play. She likes to pretend she is a princess.   She loves to dress up... and be beautiful.

...And she has such dreams for the future.

But one day someone spoils her, discourages her, does not believe in her.  People she loves use her.  She feels unwanted. Home life is painful...

Somewhere amid all the pain and grief, she stops believing she is a princess.

 Her tears flow.

She looks for love in other places, but she is always heart broken.

People cannot love her the way she needs to be loved...

 only God can do that.

But God sees her tears...He cries too.

He says,

"Come to me."

...I want to gather up every part of your heart that has been shattered and make you new."

God wants her to know his true love.  He sent Jesus.  Jesus gave his life for her so that he can be her bridegroom.  He wants to forgive her sins and take away her shame.

So she comes running to the cross.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Son,

That whoever believes in Him, will not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16

He gives her a new heart and a new life,

He heals her so that she can love God and others again.

He gives her a white robe and presents her to her Heavenly Father.

God is pleased with her and she is received as God's Daughter.

Now when she looks in the mirror she sees herself the way God says she is.

The mirror before her is God’s word and as she believes it,

she changes to be more like Christ.

"We are changed into his image by the spirit of God as we behold his glory."

She must spend time with Him.  She listens close to know what He wants.

She finds that He wants to know the desires of her heart.

He places her on a path of righteousness.

He has a job for her to do.

We all want to be a part of something that requires all of us, something risky and worth dying for.   We want to believe that there is something in us that is needed.

We want not only to be beautiful and loved but we want to be a powerful warrior for God.

He has an adventure for you . He has a place for you in his kingdom and he gives you his armor to fight and be victorious

One of the most important jobs we can have is to lead other women to the Cross too.

God is preparing you and all His people to be his Bride.

When He returns, He is coming for a beautiful Bride that is holy and pure.

Rev. 19:7

"Let us be glad and rejoice and honor him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself.

She is permitted to wear the finest white linen."

(Fine linen represents the good deeds done by the people of God.)

..."Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb."

And you will be with Him forever as his beautiful, glorious bride.

Don't ever forget who you are.
