This is a picture of Mozart taken in April, 2006.  Mozart suffered from a long, undiagnosed form of degenerative liver disease of unknown origin in addition to other ailments of the digestive tract.  He is sorely missed as he was an integral part of the family, and his fur-friend Stanzi Mae, who also misses him very much.   "We love you Mozart. You will remain in our heart until our last hour."
