There are 40 teams in four divisions of ten teams each.
Teams will play each other twice.
University and York RI have each entered an extra team in division 4.
Sessions have moved to Tramways WMC and have dropped a team.
Season 2011-12 will be a preparation season with teams playing for positions in the new structure to be introduced in 2012-13. Depending on the number of entries for 2012-13 there will be 8 teams in divisions 1 and 2 (playing each other three times) and 12 teams in divisions 3 and 4 (playing each other twice).
The placings at the end of 2011-12 will determine allocation of teams to divisions in 2012-13. Assuming 40 entries in 2012-13:
Div 1: 9th & 10th relegated automatically.
Div 2: 7th to 10th relegated automatically.
Div 3: 9th & 10th relegated automatically.
Top team in lower division leapfrogs above bottom team in higher dvision.
Play-off: Div 2 champions v 8th in div1 for place in div1.
Play-off: Div 3 champions v 6th in div2 for place in div2.
Play-off: Div 4 champions v 8th in div3 for place in div3. |

The University teams will start their fixtures week commencing 10th October. New dates have been set for their fixtures for the first week:
