York Closed Championships 2012
The York Closed Table Tennis Championships were held on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January 2012 at the Railway Institute Gymnasium. Results and reportDraw for second stage.
Treasurer and Competitions Secretary This will be Peter Thompson’s final season as Treasurer and David Atkinson will be standing down as Competitions Secretary at the end of this season. Please contact any Officer of the Association if you are interested in filling either of these positions. ETTA membership cards and renewal for 2011-12 You should have received your membership cards from the ETTA. These are for last season. Please renew your membership for 2011-12 before the start of the season. Fees are £6 (£3 for juniors). You can renew or obtain membership in one of three ways: - Online via the ETTA website: www.etta.co.uk/membership - Contact the ETTA by telephone (0845 0500388). - Through any league. If you want to renew or obtain membership via the York League then please give details and payment to your Club Secretary. Cheques payable to ETTA.
Coaching at North Yorkshire Table Tennis Club Coaching / practice sessions are held at Millthorpe School on Friday evenings during school term times and are open to everyone. There are two sessions: 6.30 to 8.00 is for beginners and the cost is £2; 7.30 to 9.30 is for advanced players and the cost is £4. Directions: Enter the school grounds from the Knavesmire side (top of Phildelphia Terrace - you can get there from Albermarle Road or South Bank Avenue). The Sports Hall is at the back. Car parking is available next to the Sports Hall.
