   Welcome to the YORK RI Badminton club portal
 

Welcome to the home portal for the badminton clubs which play at the York Railway Institute. In date order we have a Monday/Wednesday club, Tuesday/Thursday club. Also a Friday night juniors club (Juniors currently full). All clubs start at 19.00. Further details about the different clubs can be found in the "about us" section.

The clubs have mens, ladies, mixed and youth doubles teams in the York & District badminton league. Mon/Wed club also have teams in Yorkshire League.

There are 9 purpose built badminton courts. Wooden flooring with a small amount of grit in the varnish gives a good grip. Walls and windows are painted so the shuttle can easily be seen. There are separate male and female changing rooms with showers. Shuttles can be purchased at the club. There is a small free car park on the site for members and visiting teams and a pay and display too. We also have a pub on the same site.
