 Finished another 15 sec NEC, finally.

This one is a sort of stop-motion replacement project outdoor. Worked intense in Ojai and LA, begging for help, talking to a  dog and abducting some people. I will upload some prod pics soon.

I think I really need to redo my web page.... once I recoverd from the mess of foam, clay, paint and dirt.

...and moving again, really really slow.

I don't understand myself why I'm doing this again.

Working on another NEC in Ojai CA

Air is fresh, the edges of the stars are sharp, and my puppets are so tiny!
Hope that I can start shooting soon...

Talking about Amy at Egyptian Theater on 5th April, 

Thanks Adam Hyman, the director of Los Angeles Filmforum, who  organized the 2 shows of animated documentaries on April 5 & 13. Thanks Christine Panushka and Kathy Smith, great faculty of USC animation . The program starts 7 pm.

Another NEC project has started. This spot would be more about craft work and replacement animation. Excited yet a little bit nervous.

My notebook  seemed be dying, them good friend Hao reinstalled the system. Now it's fully updeted with various programs, don't ask How.

I finished 15 sec online commercial project for NEC, a Japanese IT solution company.

Original idea was inspired by Joel Fox, a cool timelapse photographer, then Jamie Caliri, a story telling genius/master of animation cinematography added an additional visual impact by building a camera rig. That beautiful music was written by Patrick Kirst.

TV Commercial United Airline "Heart" Wins Anny Award!

The animated commercial United Airline "Heart" directed by Jamie Caliri won Annie Award in best animated TV commercial category. I worked on this project for 5 month in Ojai CA  doing puppet fabrication, animation and building stages and sets.  Great!

My film Corazon en Fuego is being exhibited at USC's temporary downtown exhibition space, 750 Broadway with other 2 films Memorial and Body, Jan 15th - Feb. 11th.

I had been working on Educational Disney DVD project at Duck Studios since Aug, doing some After Effect Animation,  Compositing and a little bit Back ground painting. Now this season seems to be almost done, looking great.
