A little bit about myself:

I work full time at Equinix in the Network Engineering department  as a Technical Project Manager.

I received my Bachelor of Arts from Valparaiso University in 2006, with a major in Chinese & Japanese Studies.  I graduated with the honor of cum laude. In 2008 I graduated from Valparaiso University again with my Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with the concentration of East Asian Studies. I also studied at Middlebury College in the summer of 2005 at their Japanese Language School. 

My Side Job

• I do photography gigs on the side, as the owner of Photography by Cat. I specialize in weddings, events and portraits.  It is a hobby that pays for itself! I love capturing all sorts of things in photograph format. 

My hobbies: 

• I've been involved with martial arts since the summer of 2000.  I have studied at Tiger Martial Arts in Chesterton, IN and World Karate Academy in Center Moriches, NY. Currently I study at Bill Grossman's Kenpo Karate School in S. San Francisco, CA. 
• I love to read and am a huge fan and supporter of the Amazon Kindle 3. I also love the Apple iPad. 
  
• I'm an Apple lover, I also have an iPhone and a Macbook Pro
• I was a former President of the Japanese Club on campus for two school years.
• I am an alumna of the women's fraternity Kappa Kappa Gamma. During my time in the organization I served as Marshall and webmaster. 
• I am an almuna of the national co-ed service fraternity of Alpha Phi Omega. During my time with the organization I served as treasurer and webmaster.  I have also served as an alumni community adviser to the chapter.
