LOCATION The following schedule is for the yoga classes I teach from my studio at home at 2851 N Longhorn Drive which is near Tanque Verde and Houghton Road on the north east side of Tucson. (I also teach at the Yoga Connection on 4893 E. Speedway on Thursdays 12-1pm) SCHEDULE FOR NOVEMBER/DECEMBER TU 10-11:15am - extra gentle yoga W 9-10:15am - gentle yoga TH 6-7:15pm - gentle yoga Please check back once in a while for an update. PRICES new students - for one month - $5 per class after that $12 for a single class or pay in advance: 5 class card - expiring after 2 months - $50 10 class card - expiring after 3 months - $90 Seniors and students receive a 10% discount on class cards. YOGA FOR YOU AND YOUR BUDDIES: It can be a lot of fun and more motivating to practice yoga with your friends, co-workers, neighbors, class mates, etc. It can change the climate of your environment. If you'd like to introduce yoga to your buddies, family, colleagues, organize a class for them. If you don't like driving to a class, have it at your house. I'm very interested in teaching classes like that, here or at your location, since I had very good experiences studying yoga in that kind of set-up. I had started a small yoga group two years ago with my husband and some friends and Becky Thomas as our teacher. I didn't want to do the driving and I also wanted a more steady group of people to practice with and more contact with the teacher than you normally find in a bigger public class. It was a very inspiring time - 18 months of regular practice, that lead to my decision to study yoga more intensively and become a teacher myself. One of my friends from that group then started a new class at her office and invited me to teach it...cool! Thanks Kathleen! Once a week we meet at their office right after work. It makes it easier to commit to a weekly yoga hour if you can have it right there and it helps to let go of work, remember to relax even at your office.
