A graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, attended Midwestern University and Lake County College of Waukegan, IL.  Ms. Jarrett has two sons, Shelton Keith Estus and Michael Eric Marzett with 5 grandchildren, Stephen, Ty, Garrett, Olivia Rose and Wesley.

In 1987 Ms. Jarrett created Wichita Falls Art-Entertainment & Culture WFAEC), a tax exempt organization designed to allow youth to express their innate talents.  In 1994 the facility that we now call the Youth Opportunities Center was donated to the organization by the Senior-Junior Forum of Wichita Falls.  Since 1987 WFAEC/YOC has provided cultural activities for Wichita Falls and surrounding area.

Ms. Jarrett believes that each and every person in truth is created in the image of our Universal God, and is born with innate talents.  Using these talents enhances creativity, individuality and independence.   There are many, many artists, writers, musicians, carpenters, actors, dancers within ourselves. We all want purpose in what we are doing and where we are going and we want that purpose to be fulfilled.   In order to fulfill our missions in life our innate qualities and abilities must be developed.  Each of us has a distinct purpose and contribution to make this world of ours an outstanding place.
