The Independent Yakzir Maka (a Hebrew term translated To Counter An Attack) Federation was created in 2005 to create a Christian environment in which believers in Christ Jesus can train and learn unique self-defense skills and fellowship in the name of God.  While some self-defense organizations are embedded with new age symbols, eastern philosophies, or eastern mysticism, the Yakzir Maka Federation uses Biblical foundations such as prayer at the beginning and ending of every class. 

This unique system is the result of over 14 years of scientific research, training, and cross-training.  Techniques incorporated from:  Hapkido, Krav Maga, Western Boxing, Muay Thai, Kali, and Jeet Kune Do.

The foundation of the Yakzir Maka system is based on the teachings of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.  To God be the glory.
