Attention WaveRunners—
All swimmers are invited to participate in the
W.C.P.S.L CHAMPIONSHIPS   
March 28, 2009


Host:          Grove City YMCA

Location:    Westminster College , New Wilmington, PA 16127

Facilities:    6 Lane’s 25 yard pool, separate warm-up/warm-down pool.  It is one of the fastest venues in Western PA .  Colorado Timing system with horn start will be used.  A six-lane read out board and touch pads will enable easy split taking.  A carpeted balcony seats 300 spectators.

Rules:    This meet will be governed by USS Swimming Rules and Regulations.

Event Order:     The meet will be conducted in accordance with the attached schedule of events.
    10-unders will swim in the A.M. session that begins at 8:35am
    11-up will swim 2nd session.  Time TBA once entries have been received.

Entry Eligibility:   
1.     Each swimmer may swim 3 individual events and 2 relay events
2.     Age as of October 1, 2008 determines age group of swimmer.
3.     Birth dates must be included with entries.  No swimmer will be allowed to swim without a birth date.
4.     No late entries will be accepted.

Seeding:     This is a pre-seeded meet.
   
Entry of Times:     All swimmers must be entered with their actual time.  “NT” will not be accepted.  All times must have been achieved between September 1, 2008 and current date.

Entries:    3 Individual events per swimmers.  $3.00/IE (paid by each swimmer, make checks payable to the WaveRunners)

Relays:        Each team may enter 3 relay teams.  A swimmer may move up to participate on a relay.     
        However, they     CANNOT age down.  $8.00/IE   (will be paid by the team)
Relays may be of one gender or mixed.

NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED

        CONFIRMATION OF ENTRIES WILL BE DONE FOR EACH TEAM.  ONCE ENTRIES ARE
CONFIRMED NO CHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Scoring:     Individual events:   
        16, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,   1st – 12th place will be awarded.
        Relay events are doubled:   
        32, 26, 24, 22, 20, 18, 14, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1st – 12th place will be awarded

Awards:      Individual medals 1st – 6th place, ribbons 7th-12th place.
        Relays: medals 1st-6th place, ribbons 7th-12th place.

        High Point Awards: awarded to each age group gender
        Runner-up Awards: awarded to each runner-up in each age group gender.
        Combined Gender Team High Point awarded in all age groups.

        Team Trophies:  1st-3rd top teams in Division A and B.
