The State Boards for Model United Nations and Youth Legislature are student leaders at the conferences. These students are selected in elections by their peers and in some cases are chosen via application at the conferences. If you are interested in becoming a member of a State Board, you must complete an intent-to-run form and submit it at the Pre-Conference Training (Pre-MUN/Pre-LEG). In all cases, you must have attended the conference for which you are seeking office for one year before becoming a candidate for State Board. In some cases, you must first be elected to represent your district at the Pre-Conference training. More information can be found in the "Running for Office" section of the handbook.
