Biography

Dr Yanwei Pang received the PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), China.  He has been a postdoc at USTC. Currently, he is an associate professor with the School of Electronic Information Engineering, Tianjin University, China.  His research area  includes computer vision, web search & mining, pattern recognition and digital image processing, in which he has published about 40 scientific papers including five IEEE trans. papers. He is a member of the IEEE. He has served as a program committee member for  more than ten international conferences. He is on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Computer Mathematics (Taylor & Francis). He was a reviewer for more than ten international journals.
