Although I've adopted a new date format years ago, I am officially using it online. Today's blog is brought to you by SNACKS

I went to giant eagle today. I like this place. It has Yahia kinds of fruits. They sell Jackfruits whole. Yes, you read me correctly. Not slices such as Thyme market or frozen in the other healthy conscious grocery stores.

The reason why I am writing today is more for myself than you, my audience.

I bought 2 of $X. My total came out as $39.10. This is only half of the groceries. The other half is everything + oatmeal except for the fruits.

I want to save $$ on groceries. Experience, through the Wisdom of الله (SWT), taught me that I can survive by snacking instead of eating normal meals. Ramadan is a huge factor. I can do 16+ hours of fasting when I'm not exerting to much energy. I'm pretty much stagnant at work; so, this will work out for me.

However, I will purchase lunch at work. I like the 30 minute lunch breaks. When I worked at the Cleveland Clinic, I hated them. Also, it's mandatory by Bayer. It's a good thing I enjoy them.

I will need to copy these types of snacks for future weeks.

Not even 10 days in and there are rumors about me at work. Good rumors, but rumors nonetheless. I am a contractor doing Linux stuff (Linux Systems Engineer to be exact). I am extremely blessed. I am making the amount I want per hour and working in a field I truly love. The job is pretty simple and straight forward - upgrades and server migrations.

Nonetheless, I was invited to an after hours event to meet, greet and even hang out with coworkers. I had such a blast. I got to meet coworkers from different teams and learned about the rumors they were gossiping about. I won't go into much details, but at least I'll paint a broad picture. Rumors such as "rock star" or "savior" were some of the words that were thrown around as I talked with people.

All in all, al-hamdul-lil-llah, this job was meant for me. I hope I am the rock star they badly needed.
