Diablo Mountain Bike Park, Mountain Creek, Vernon NJ 07462

The 2.00 Mile Trail loop begins at the base of Vernon Mountain by the Cabriolet Lift. The loop will immediately head up hill on the Sugar Slope, Khyber Pass and Great Northern to reach the summit at 1480 ft. After passing an aid station at the summit you will head down hill using Eagle Hunt and Lower Eagle to get back to the base of the Mountain.  There will be another aid station at the Start Finish area before you head back up the Mountain on your next loop.   Here is a tentative course map on Mapmyrun.com.  The view is upside down from the map below.  There will be a total elevation gain of 933' per loop.  To get back down you also have to have 933' of elevation loss.

This course will be using ski trails, fire roads on the slopes and existing bike paths on the Mountain.  On the ski slopes you will have your choice of picking the best line to ascend or descend the mountain.  This race is taking place in July and you can expect it to be HOT.  You may want to carry water with you but will pass an aid station twice every loop.

Mountain Creek is a full service resort.  There will be everything available for the entire family.  Discounted tickets to Mountain Creek Waterpark are available for purchase with registration.  The Appalachian Hotel is offering discounted rates for all runners as well. The Cabriolet Lift will be open for spectators to meet you at the summit and enjoy the glorious views of the surrounding mountains.

This event happens rain or shine -- be prepared for anything!

You can enter the 6 or 12 Hour Race as a Relay.  Any number of runners but ALL runners must run at least one loop.

Check in begins 5:30am for the 12 hour race and 8:00am for the 3 and 6 hour race.
