In cooperation with the Morris County Parks, USATF-NJ, ARQ RC would like to introduce a new weekly series of 5K events from April until early fall on Wednesday nights.  Total of about 20 races over the series.  First race will be April 21, 2010.

The course is in the old Greystone complex now called Central Park and a part of the Morris County Parks.  It is also the FUTURE home of the High School Cross Country meets.  The course will be altered slightly to account for softball games.

The purpose of the series is to introduce cross country running to all people.  The course will be open to all ages and all abilities.

Costs per race:
Youth: Those still in high school or younger: $5 in advance, $8 night of registration.
Adult:  Those older than School age: $8 in advance, $10 night of registration.

You may register and pay for the entire series at any time:
Youth: $40
Adult: $65

You will receive a race bib and accurate timing every week.  After race refreshments will be served.  No shirt will be given though a technical shirt will be available for purchase. 

There will be a culmination of points during the series.  The best 6 times count towards your cumulative total.  Series Awards will be given to top male and female in Youth and Adults.  If the series is very popular we will break down the Series awards to smaller age categories.  All results will be posted here along with a leader board after the sixth week.

Races will go on Rain or Shine.  Races start at 6:30.  Registrations begins at 5:30.
