Posting decklists is one of the oldest PDC traditions. In addition to being a safeguard against player dishonesty, it also provides newcomers to the Pauper format with deckbuilding ideas and an understanding of the metagame. Because of its value to the PDC community, posting decklists is a requirement of any player who participates in the Top 8 or Top 4 playoffs. Failure to post a Top 8 or Top 4 decklist will result in a first-time warning, a loss of season points for the event, and a loss of any prizes associated with your placing.
The procedure for posting decklists is quite simple. - In MTGO, save your decklist as a "Local Text Deck" on your desktop or other easily accessible location. ![]() - Open the .txt file with Notepad or another basic text editing program. ![]() - Click on "UNENTERED DECKS" notice to see your list of unentered decks. ![]() - Click on the name of the most recent XPDC event. ![]() - Cut and paste your list from the .txt file into the appropriate fields in Gatherling. Finish entering information and then save it. ![]() - If you have time to spare, please record some matchup notes or closing thoughts on the list, both for your own future reference and for the edification of the PDC community. - Your decklist will appear throughout Gatherling with your name always attached and credit given.
