The Mitsubishi Alpha is a freely programmable DDC controller with a wealth of features making it ideal for small domestic and commercial automation and monitoring projects. 


The Mitsubishi Alpha 2 (XL, II) has a broad range of potential uses including Energy Controls, Home Automation, HVAC Control, Remote Telemetry and Remote Monitoring applications. With a little imagination the Alpha can be programmed to suit many control scenarios as a low cost, simple application controller.


The AlphaWeb software runs on a PC and generates, by default, both a simple web-page and a XML file that contains fully formatted I/O values collected from a single Alpha controller. More-over, the software enables functionality not inherent within the Alpha itself, for example, support for very low-cost Thermistor temperature sensors.

Alpha Web Features
  • Reads Inputs 1 - 15 (AI, DI)
  • Reads Outputs 1 - 9 (DO)
  • Reads Expansion I/O 1 - 4 (DI, DO)
  • Reads ASI Inputs 1 - 4 and ASI Outputs 1 - 4
  • Generates HTML / XML files each periodic cycle
  • Periodic cycle is adjustable from 1 to 60 Minutes
Standard Functions
  • Formats binary values to your status texts...
     On/Off,  Normal/Fault,  Run/Stop, etc
  • Applies your engineering units...
     °C,  °F,  %rH, etc
  • Applies your I/O point labels...
     Space Temperature, LPHW Flow Temp, etc
