About me: My name is Xinyi Chen. I am a graduate student of Material Science and Engineering. I joined Dr. Gary Rubloff's group in April 2009. Now, I am working on an exciting project, which uses atomic layer deposition (ALD) to develop enhanced quality Josephson tunnel junctions for quantum computing. I am now a member of Chinese Student and Scholar Association at UMD. At my free time, I enjoy sports, especially basketball and billiards. Also I would like to spend time cooking with my wife Weiwei.
