Xavier Lopez

Objective: 

I am looking for a full-time position that puts my vast artistic abilities to work in an exciting and fast-paced business environment in order to achieve the professional goals of an important and innovative organization. I am capable of drawing and painting anything in a realistic or stylized fashion and I am extremely fast and accurate.

·         Designed, manufactured and implemented several installations for museum and gallery spaces.

·         Award winning career as a sculptor, painter and performance artist including presentations of work in San Francisco, Germany and France.

Technical:

 

·         Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Front Page and Outlook.

·         Designed and published catalogues and flyers using PageMaker, Publisher, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

·         Created Newsletters, posters and flyers using and old version of FrontPage.

·         Training in HTML, XHTML and CSS.

·         Business filing and data input using Primavera Project Planner, Livelink, Uplink, Enterprise One (formerly One World) and DAFIS filing system.

·         Built Websites using Dreamweaver, Word, Photoshop and FrontPage.

·         Proficient in Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, WordPerfect, Bookmaker, Netscape, Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat, Premiere and Production studio.

·         Managed monthly calendars for several people.

·         Took minutes for large meetings.

Variety of office environment positions, worked with a variety of programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, computerized and traditional filing; scanning sensitive documents; managing four+ employees; preparing operations manuals, front desk operation.

Teaching 30+ students, designed/implemented English and Art courses and seminars, managed 2 student aides. During this period I also had an exhibition of my paintings in Mainz, Germany.

Lead discussions, creating and implementing lessons. Taught Business English to French students. During this period I also had two exhibitions of my artwork in Bordeaux, France.

Designed and prepared flyers and winter course-catalogue, updated website, Designed and built large-scale and miniature exhibitions, assisted in training courses.

Created and curated Graduate Student Art Gallery, created all flyers, posters, pamphlets for organization, wrote for GSA Newsletter, wrote and illustrated comic strips and editorial cartoons for paper.
