This was my first class with the students!  It was very exciting and insightful.  In class we learned about God's Love and how he cares for us by providing us with everything we need.  Whether that is family, food, water, or friends - he gives us gifts of life.  Therefore, we need to be thankful to the Lord and always give thanks.  We learned we could give thanks by 1) praying with the Sign of the Cross (which we practiced and learned multiple times throughout class time) or 2) by being nice to others.  By showing others we care for them, and by being nice to them, we show God we care for Him.
