Having been a Muslim parent myself for over 15 years now i have become increasingly interested with making the services more accessible to Muslim communities.  There have been many examples of miscommunication or misunderstanding that could have been avoided with some good education around what Muslims may expect during maternity care and some of the cultural and religious traditions they may follow.

At wysewomen we have developed a fun interactive day workshop that can travel to you anywhere in the country to help improve your relationship with your local Muslim parents as they access your services.  Drawing on many years as a birth educator supporting all sorts of different families and also my experience working with Muslim parents there is much to share.
