Advanced Mastery Training 2010—what you’ll learn, and how you’ll get to learn it… This training is shaping up to be hands-down the most innovative training we know of in the field of NLP. It is an unparalleled opportunity to experience 5 of NLP’s most creative and skilled trainers and developers, all present for the full 7 days. Each of these trainers has a LOT to offer us individually, and being all together in the same room, this training is set to emerge as a synergistic shift in the way we can learn, and also to develop upon, the leading-edge methods and thinking in NLP. It’s sure to be a fun-filled, inspiring, and generative community event.
Fun, Creativity & Spontaneity: Sprinkled throughout the training will be outrageous and fun-filled exercises and “games” designed to keep us in an easy “up-time” natural learning mode (while also teaching very intentional and useful techniques to expand our capabilities). These games are a great way to connect with each other and also help us tap into our natural creativity & spontaneity. Here’s a glimpse into what you’ll get to participate in: *Improv—Andrew Austin has utilized improv games in his NLP trainings, and he’ll guide us in some of his favorites. *Nick Kemp’s Provocative Therapy Games: We could call these exercises, but they feel more like games. We’ll learn humorous ways to help clients out of their ruts, (and at the same time, these games will help US out of OUR communication ruts). With the laughter of practice, it becomes easy to incorporate these techniques in a way that makes them our own. *Danie Beaulieu’s Impact Therapy also feels a lot like play. Her exercises are designed for specific impact and change—yet in a way that easily bumps them out of “client” role and into a role of learning and openness to change.”
Live Client Sessions and Modeling: *Observe our 5 Master Trainers working with individual clients—people who have no previous background with NLP. Watching skilled practitioners work is possibly the most effective way to experience automatic and unconscious deepening in our own work. And being there live somehow makes it possible to absorb more completely than just viewing on tape. (Contact us if you know someone without NLP background who is interested in a free NLP session as part of this training. Email Steve <andreas@qwest.net>) * Live Modeling--Learn what these 5 experienced trainers see happening in each others’ sessions, and be a part of this inside circle, participating in the synergy of ongoing modeling and observations. Tuition: $1250 Group Discount: Sign up as a group of two or more and you'll each receive $200 off for a total tuition of $1050. (email Mark the names in your group at AMT@toolsfortransforming.com to receive your discounts) CLICK HERE to REGISTER NOW | We’ll be learning powerful, in-depth Changework Methods: Lucas Derks Nick Kemp: *How can we make our metaphors “real” and “concrete” for clients such that they really get it? With her Impact Therapy Danie Beaulieu is an artist and expert at using simple metaphors that aren’t just a verbal story or concept, but are in the room with us—a twenty dollar bill, a piece of paper, a glass of water. Danie will be teaching some of her most potent exercises, distilled out of hundreds. We’ll watch her use these methods, and then follow her lead in exploring these fun and dynamic exercises ourselves. Andrew T. Austin: *Effective ways to deal with pain and pain-control: For those of us who are coaches or therapists (or just human beingsJ), pain is something many clients want help in dealing with, and often our methods fall short. Andrew Austin will be showing us how and why the usual ways of working with pain management often fall into some predictable traps. *Learn the next step of the Metaphors of Movement material! Andy Austin will be teaching a “status” direction, and how this can unconsciously confuse and thwart us in actually moving toward our goals. Steve Andreas: *Steve Andreas will be teaching several new pieces, including one on ways to escape the “ego” trap, which is probably the greatest obstacle to a good life. Also a segment on logical fallacies in generalization, and one on utilizing someone’s idioms to redirect their attention and reframe their experience. This is Just the Beginning: Each Trainer will present one Block in the first two days of the training, to begin the process. After that, we'll be discovering ways to weave together contributions from these talented trainers, plus our participants, to optimize what emerges as the training goes forward.
