Baptisms

Baptism is the sacrament of entrance to the community of faith. Presbyterians baptize adults on their profession of faith, as well as babies and children.

Weddings

Couples who wish to be married in the Chapel should contact the minister or secretary to arrange a tentative date.

Hall4Hire

The church has a large lower hall with kitchen and toilet facilities. It is available most days and evenings for hire on a regular or one off basis.

CITY ROAD PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CHESTER

City Road church is the second oldest church in the Cheshire Flint and Denbigh presbytery, founded in a barn over 200 years ago. The present building at the city end of City Road dates back to 1867 and is a listed building. The congregation consists of 32 families with over 60 persons of all ages claiming a connection to us. We aim to be a welcoming and friendly family of God’s people worshipping and serving Him joyfully in our community.

Our main church service is at 10-45 am on a Sunday followed by coffee in the Lower Hall. If you live in Chester or are visiting please come and join us.
