Long Marston is a village and civil parish in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated on the B1224 road from Wetherby to York 7 miles west of York, 6 miles east of Wetherby.

Ainsty was an historic wapentake situated to the west of York and bounded by the Rivers Nidd to the north, Ouse to the east and Wharfe to the south.
