Joan Collins is a teacher librarian at John Glenn Middle School in Bedford, MA.  She has been actively encouraging children and young adults to read throughout her 30 year career as teacher and librarian. 
Joan is committed to sharing her enthusiasm for young adult books and motivating adolescents to read.
Her book, Motivating Readers at the Middle Grades.Linworth, 2008, is the perfect tool to use in middle school for generating excitement about books and building readers for the future.
This resource in teacher-friendly  and provides reproducibles for the professional who wants to begin reading motivation in middle school.
