Instructor Ken Ekegren took Abrán Quevedo's summer San Diego workshop in 2007 and has run a workshop a year since! This summer they will be converting a pick-up so anyone interested in a truck conversion should sign up for 2 weeks in North Mansfield at $400 -- a genuine bargain. Opening soon in Florida (Tampa Bay region of Central FL) Electric Vehicle Technical Institute providing hands-on training on every aspect of EV conversion, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade modification. Training can be completed in 4 weeks (full-time, days) or 8 (evenings/weekends). I am not sure if this outfit is up and running but there is a very interesting plan on the site.
