2007 ...

a group of 8 teachers and environmentalists
convert a 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon to a fully-electric vehicle
in the first workshop of its kind on the East Coast




2009 ...


13 new students and 2 returning participants re-convert and upgrade the vehicle
 The 2009 EV Conversion Workshop was funded by the Pennsylvania DEP's Environmental Education Grants Program




2011
 
10 participants build a 100% battery-electric 1990 Mazda Miata in just 6 days
The 2011 workshop was offered in cooperation with the Green Jobs Academy of Bucks County Community College.
