 Contact Us Who are we? A three-year-old registered Pennsylvania non-profit dedicated to promoting electric vehicles -- the technology of tomorrow that's available today. What do we do? Bucks County Renewables has overseen two successful, hands-on Electric Vehicle Conversion Workshops, the first on the East Coast.. In 2008 we presented 3-hour mini-workshops on EV conversion at the Pennsylvania Energy Fest and we will be offering them again in September, 2009. Bucks County Renewables helped sponsor the 2009 EV's in Macungie EV-ent which will be repeated in early May 2010. In addition to providing hands-on opportunities to learn the process of conversion, Bucks County Renewables is currently developing a week-long high school level curriculum on EV's. This lab-based exploration would be appropriate for a physical science, physics, engineering or automotive class or club. We will be offering mini-workshops at the PA Energy Fest in Kempton, PA September 18, 19 & 20.  We hope to offer a six-week Saturday-only workshop early in 2010. We are definitely planning to offer a 3rd five-day intensive summer workshop in 2010.
