I founded iWatchNow Inc. a 'Netflix-type' service streaming over 3,000 classic films and TV shows on the Internet for nearly 5 years and was sold to a outside group of investors.
My roots began in Cable TV (Group W) at Z Channel, The Travel Channel and Home Theater Network. I founded and launched on satellite one of first movie pay-per-view cable services ‘The People’s Choice’. While at MGM/UA I managed their TV division and was Executive in Charge of Production for 2 seasons for ‘Sid and Marty Krofft’s ‘DC Follies’ starring Fred Willard seen in over 170 TV markets across the county.
At idealab, I worked with dot.com start-ups HomePage, Woodstock and cloud computing SaaS/IaaS provider Frontera (later sold to Marc Andreessen’s ‘Loudcloud’). Post idealab, I moved over to Verizon Telecommunications Business IT Solutions and Hosting Group managing channel and VAR sales for Oracle and Cisco products, web hosting and SaaS/IaaS landing Vivendi/Universal, PopCap Games, Mp3, Mattel and Honda.
Graduated with a degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with an emphasis on Communications Law in 1977.
