Though I'm qualified to be an architect, my true passion is writing and I started freelancing right from my fourth year in college. What jump-started my career was winning the Highlights Fellowship in July 2004. You can know about that story here. As soon as I came back from US,  I had a contract with Seasons' Publishers (Chennai) to write books on Indian folktales, an agreement that lasts till this minute, along with other writing projects from corporate clientele.
