If School Were More Like Baseball
If school were more like baseball we'd only have to play. We'd hang out in the sunshine and run around all day. We wouldn't have to study. We'd practice and we'd train. And, best of all, they'd cancel whenever there was rain. Kenn Nesbitt

MEET THE SECOND GRADE TEACHERS
Mrs. Jenny Mahone has taught at WRCS for fifteen years. She attended WRCS through elementary school and had Mrs. Nelson as a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade teacher. She is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite University and attends Warwick River Mennonite Church. She is married to Lou Mahone, and they have three terrific children. Thomas is in sixth grade, Jordan is in third grade, and Madeline is now four years old! Mrs. Mahone loves to play tennis and spend time with friends and family. She also is an accomplished violinist and takes an active part in area string groups.
Mrs. Deb Van Buskirk has taught at WRCS since 2001, having taught previously in Michigan, Japan, England, and other schools on the Peninsula. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University and attends Northampton Church of Christ. She is married to Greg Van Buskirk, and they have two children. David and his wife, Jennifer, live in Jacksonville, FL, and Beth and her husband, Joe, live in Mechanicsville, VA. Mrs. Van Buskirk enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and playing with her twenty pound cat named Winston!
