Bible - We will be discussing that Christ knows how we feel because He experienced many of the same things in His human body. We will be reading from Matthew 4: 1-11.
Our memory verses are:
Psalm 100:4-5
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Reading - We have reached the end of unit two in our reading program. We will review and have our end of the unit test next week.
Spelling - :
Due to our short week, there will not be any spelling words!!
Math -We will work on lessons 41-42. Please encourage your child to work on their subtraction and multiplication facts. Science - We will wrap up our study of plants.
Social Studies - We will review Chapter 5. We will have a chapter test the following week.
English - We will continue our unit of verbs.

Character Trait for November: Gratitude
We have so much to be thankful for! Next month our class will sponsor an Angel Tree child for the Salvation Army. We are asking each child to contribute $5.00. Our class and the other fourth grade class is going together to sponsor a child. Our class is in charge of the toys and the other class is in charge of the clothing. We hope everyone will be able to participate. Thank you for your help with this.
WRCS is collecting toys for "Toys That Bring Joy." The toys may be new or gently used for children in New York City. Contributions may be brought in now through December 11.
