What is really the world's worst car?

Lemons, rustbuckets, heaps, bombs... whatever you want to call them, there is something strangely fascinating about bad cars.

A Forbes magazine article entitled The Worst Cars of All Time
lists 14 cars in a nice little slide show with a short explanation of what's so terrible about each car.

Among other, the list included the following gems:

The criteria for the Forbes article included that the cars had to be:

• Made after World War II (there were too many terrible cars to consider before then!)
• Unsafe; poorly considered, styled, engineered, or marketed; public relations disasters -or any combination of the above
  
  

Interestingly, Time magazine ran a feature on the 50 worst cars of all time (to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Ford Edsel), which is by definition much broader in scope.
